About Us
The idea of It’s A Vibe Boutique came from recognizing the need for a sex toy (and more) shop that is bright and inclusive and carries products for all bodies, genders, sexualities, and abilities.
As two women who have grown up and lived in the Fraser Valley, we know first-hand how difficult it can be to access sexual health products, especially if you’d prefer a shop without blacked-out windows.
Our hope is to offer products along with education in the form of pop-up shops, workshops, and special events.
We are curating a product list that has something for everyone and if you can’t find what you’re looking for, just ask! We are happy to help you shop and can always place a special order for those extra spicy items that we don’t have available online!
Meet The Team
Ashley Ward-Hall | she, her, hers
Ashley is a trained sexual health educator and an advocate for inclusive, queer, pleasure-focused sex ed. As a young person, she had very little sexual health education, but has a vivid memory of a textbook with pictures of STI’s (STD’s, at the time) making the rounds around her Grade 10 classroom. This is why she starts each presentation for young people with the clip from Mean Girls, quoting the gym teacher who states “Don’t have sex because you’ll get pregnant and die.” to drive home how harmful fear-based education is.
In her 20’s, Ashley was a Hanky Panky party rep and loved being invited into people’s homes to talk about sex toys. Like all home party businesses, the circle of people wanting home parties got smaller and smaller and eventually closed.
As a wellness coordinator at the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford, BC, Ashley was able to start an on-campus pleasure products shop, offering sex toys to students (and staff) at affordable prices, with a side of education. And lube. So much lube.
Ashley loves teaching people about their bodies and their partners bodies, and what pleasure and consent and bodily autonomy should look like in all types of relationships.
Deanna McIntyre | she, her, hers
Deanna was born and raised in the Fraser Valley and lived in Abbotsford for over 20 years. In 2019, she discovered heels dancing and quickly fell in love with the way it allowed her to express her sensuality while exploring confidence, embodiment, and personal pleasure—one strut at a time.
Inspired by the vibrant, inclusive workshops offered by shops in Vancouver, Deanna saw just how transformative these spaces could be. She knew the Fraser Valley deserved that same energy: a place where people can learn, connect, and feel completely at home in their bodies.
Deanna believes everyone deserves the freedom to love who they love and to express that love in ways that feel authentic and aligned. At It’s a Vibe Boutique, she wants to create a space where curiosity is celebrated, confidence is contagious, and everyone is invited to explore what feels good—no shame and maybe something fun to take home.
